It's Harder To Make A Pizza Than An Intergalactic Space Ship

  

At first glance the title of this post seems like a joke but it is not. Let me explain. To build an interplanetary vehicle requires only two things: technology or the know how and the right materials. It could be built in a day. However, a pizza is a far more intricate process. Take the cheese for instance. The grass must be grown and fed to cows who are then milked and that milk goes through a time consuming process to make it in to cheese. The dough also takes time from the growing of the wheat and yeast to the processing of the flour and then the making and proofing out of the dough. Then all the meats and vegetables also take time to grow and harvest. None of these processes can be sped up. They happen at a given rate. Add to that the thousands of years it has taken humans to perfect the recipe and you can see that making a pizza is much more difficult than making a space ship. A space ship can be built on any planet but pizza is unique to the Earth and the truth about aliens is that they don't come here for our DNA as much as they come here for the pizza.
