"The Taste Of Hypocrisy" By Don Miles

     On your planet, there is a cult like group of "Christians" who believe that 144,000 people will be miraculously saved by God before and unimaginable apocalypse that will destroy the Earth and leave nobody alive. They seem to feel that their all knowing, all loving God picks and chooses who goes to heaven or who stays on Earth to suffer indescribable torment. They are proud to be the "chosen ones" although pride is a sin and they have no problem leaving their fellow humans behind, a definite lack of compassion. The irony of course is that most of these people are far from being sin free. In fact, most are guilty of one or more of the deadliest sins yet, still believe that they will be spared because to them, it like some kind of game. They think all they have to do is, with their mouths,  proclaim their faith and accept Jesus as their lord and savior. Their hypocrisy is at the flavorful crux of the matter. Let me explain.
     You see, the idea of The Rapture was actually planted on your world by us many centuries ago. We are a species of humanoid reptilians who feast on humans. You are a food source for us on a very sacred day. In our culture, The Rapture is actually a gigantic feast on my world for 144,000 dignitaries from across the quadrant. We use The Rapture story to convince a large number of humans to live clean, drug free and sexually transmitted disease free lives so that when we take them for our feast, they will be clean and unspoiled. The fact that they are hypocrites is a huge bonus because hypocrisy adds flavor to humans. The vile nature of hypocrites somehow tenderizes the meat, and if they are greedy and selfish, that too adds to the flavor. Because "Christians" on your planet are so full of hypocrisy and anger, another human spice, they are known to be the tastiest Rapture feast in the quadrant. The final factor that adds flavor is when they realize in the final, horrifying moments that their Rapture is just a feast for 144,000 godless reptilian aliens.Happy Rapture!
